Here are five highlights:
1. Cerapedics won the award for its i-FACTOR Peptide Enhanced Bone Graft.
2. The bone graft is based on Cerapedics’ synthetic small peptide technology, which promotes bone growth via cell attachment and activation.
3. The i-FACTOR Peptide Enhanced Bone Graft is the first bone graft approved by the FDA for use in the cervical spine.
4. The bone graft is intended for patients with degenerative cervical disc disease.
5. Cerapedics received the honor in conjunction with the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting in Boston, from Oct. 26 to Oct. 29, 2016.
