Here are five things to know:
1. Surgeons are increasingly using STALIF C and STALIF C-Ti with Ti-ACTIVE coating instead of traditional plate and interbody combinations for cervical procedures.
2. The minimally invasive and tissue sparing procedure includes a single incision that produces consistent clinical results.
3. STALIF C integrated interbody system was designed to simplify surgery. It’s a no-profile system that reduces the steps required to complete the procedure.
4. The STALIF C has a three-screw construct with the Anti Back-Out technology for compressive fixation at the graft site. It’s biomechanically equivalent to a cage and plate.
5. There is less metal in the STALIF C as well as less tissue trauma.
“In my clinical experience utilizing the STALIF C device for over five years, it has been shown to be very effective in treating my degenerative spine patients,” said Said Elshihabi, MD, of WellStar Neurosurgery in Marietta, Ga.
