Carlsmed’s Q1 revenue grows 58%

Spine devicemaker Carlsmed saw massive year-over-year leaps in its first quarter revenue, according to financial results posted May 5.

Five things to know:

1. First-quarter revenue reached $16.1 million, a 58% increase year over year.

2. Carlsmed saw gross profit of $12.4 million, up from $7.6 million during the same period in 2025.

3. Operating expenses grew to $21.7 million in the first quarter and include research and development, sales and marketing and general costs.

4. Carlsmed operated on a quarterly net loss of $8.7 million.

5. The company expects full-year 2026 revenue to be in the range of $72 million to $77 million.
