Carestream Healthcare International introduced the latest version of its DRX-LC Detector, which uses AI to support long-length imaging.

The detector uses single-shot long-length imaging to capture long-bone and spine exams in one exposure, according to a Sept. 3 news release from the company.

The latest version includes detector exposure control, which automatically adjusts imaging parameters, and smart noise cancellation, which is designed to reduce noise while preserving fine detail.

The detector is compatible across DR rooms, mobile systems and retrofit solutions, allowing providers to use a single detector across multiple care settings, the release said.
