Bioventus appoints Michael Minogue to board of managers: 5 notes

Durham, N.C.-based Bioventus appointed Michael Minogue to the company’s board of managers.

1. Mr. Minogue will help Bioventus expand its global growth in orthobiologics.

2. Mr. Minogue is the CEO, president and chairman of Danvers, Mass.-based Abiomed.

 

3. He also serves as chairman of Medical Device Industry Consortium and on the executive board of directors for AdvaMed.

 

4. Mr. Minogue earned his master’s of business administration degree from University of Chicago.

 

5. He replaces Evan Melrose, MD, MBA, on the board.
