Investigators evaluated OsteoSponge for interbody fusion in conjunction with the Titan Endoskeleton titanium cage. The study involved a set of patients evaluated at six months and a separate set of patients that were evaluated at one year after the procedure.
An independent radiologist reviewed and graded the CT scans for evidence on fusion and determined the fusion rates of the six month group and the 12 month group. There were no radiographic device-related complications.
