Seven sites were approved, and three more are pending, according to an April 4 company news release. The initial study will look at 40 single-level patients and 40 multilevel patients.

The Dexa-C system is approved for anterior cervical interbody fusion and uses the company’s technology for measuring bone density. Sebastian Koga, MD, will be the principal investigator for the study.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
