Audax Medical Receives Grant for Orthobiologics Product Line

Audax Medical, a Littleton, Mass.-based orthobiologics company, has been awarded a research and development grant through the Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Project program to develop Arxis, a regenerative bone and cartilage material, according to a company news release.

The company has entered into a partnership with Brown University to develop the Arxis technology. The QTDP grant supports the company’s research and development efforts in tissue regeneration, tissue reconstruction, drug delivery and combination products. The grant will also be used to fund the commercialization of Arxis.
