Apple Vision Pro and eXeX surgical technology launches commercially

The Apple Vision Pro and eXeX surgical mapping software launched commercially at Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital, the hospital said.

Neurosurgeon Robert Knego, MD, debuted the technologies at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, according to an April 28 news release. The software and headset creates a digital map that helps streamline workflows in the operating room.

Apple Vision Pro and eXeX also was debuted at Cromwell Hospital London, spine surgeon Robert Masson, MD, said in a May 24 email to Becker’s.
