Another advisory firm supports anticipated spine company merger

A few days after earning a vote of confidence from the Institutional Shareholder Services, proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis gave its recommendation for Globus Medical and NuVasive’s merger.

Glass Lewis is the second leading independent proxy advisory firm to encourage shareholders to vote for the merger, NuVasive said in an April 17 news release. Shareholder voting is expected to take place April 27.

The Institutional Shareholder Services gave its public support April 14.
