Amendia CEO and President Chris Fair commented combining the two companies solidifies its position as “one of the fastest growing and most comprehensive spine companies in the marketplace today.”
Spinal Elements President Jason Blain noted the acquisition will yield a “robust portfolio of spine products featuring titanium-coated PEEK interbody technology.”
Spinal Elements develops Ti-Bond porous titanium coating and will soon launch its Lucent XP expandable cage and the Clutch interspinous process device. These two products will complement Amendia’s Overwatch pedicle screw system, Syzygy reduction screw system and Ceres cervical product lines.
