2. The GAAP net loss was $0.07 per share, compared to $0.30 per share in the same period the year prior.
3. Amedica’s cash and cash equivalents came in at $6.9 million, down $1 million for the first quarter of 2016.
Amedica reported the following second quarter 2017 preliminary unaudited earnings.
4. For the second quarter, Amedica saw $3.2 million in earnings, down from $4 million in the second quarter of 2016.
5. The GAAP net loss was $0.05 per share, compared to $0.40 per share in the same period the year prior.
6. As of June 30, Amedica’s cash and cash equivalents were $3.5 million.
The company reported the following first half of 2017 preliminary unaudited earnings.
7. For the first six months of 2017, Amedica saw revenue of $5.8 million.
8. The GAAP net loss was $0.12 per share, compared to $0.71 per share in the same period the year prior.
Commercialization update
9. Additionally, Amedica has seen a 38 percent boost in surgeon users of its Taurus Pedicle Screw System since the end of 2016.
10. The company saw a 14 percent increase in sales agents representing their products compared to the end of 2016.
