Allen Medical Systems Receives Patent for Spine Surgery Technology

The United States Patent and Trademark Office awarded Allen Medical Systems a patent for its “head support apparatus for spinal surgery,” according to a Targeted News Services report.

The apparatus was developed by Thomas K. Skripps. Allen Medical Systems is a company focused on improving patient outcomes and caregiver safety through advanced surgical positioning technology.
