Xvision uses AR to help with more precise navigation of instruments and implants. More than 2,000 cases have been performed by surgeons altogether.

UConn Health’s spine surgeons who are trained to use Xvision are: Hardeep Singh, MD; Hilary Onyiuke, MD; Ian McNeill, MD; Isaac Moss, MD; Scott Mallozzi, MD; and Ketan Bulsara, MD.

In mid-September, Augmedics’ founder and former CEO left the company after “significant changes in the company and disagreements with the new management and board.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
