The system is for use in the thoracolumbar spine for minimally invasive spine fusion surgery.
Aesculap said features of the system include a dilator mechanism that, when combined with the company’s Spyder Minimally Invasive Retractor System, can provide spine surgeons with a cannulated screw option for those who want to use a guided screw technique in a mini-open incision approach.
