Here are four key updates from spine and orthopedic device companies in the last week:

1. Global medical technology SeaSpine began the limited commercial launch and completed initial surgeries using its Mariner adult deformity pedicle screw system.

2. Stryker acquired Gauss Surgical and its platform which monitors blood loss during surgery.

3. Joimax’s EndoLIF Delta cage and EndoLIF double wedge cage both received FDA clearance.

4. Intelivation Technologies won FDA approval for the Advantage-C PEEK cervical interbody fusion device.
