Accelus earns growth financing, names board chair

Spine devicemaker Accelus closed an equity financing round led by Concord Health Partners.

Details about the funding weren’t disclosed in a May 29 news release shared with Becker’s. The capital will support Accelus’ commercial growth.

Accelus also named Bernie Haffey as the new chair for its board of directors. Mr. Haffey has served on Accelus’ board since February 2024 and has more than 20 years of experience in the medtech and healthcare industries.

Accelus’ spine portfolio includes the FlareHawk interbody fusion system, the LineSider spinal system and Toro-L interbody fusion system.
