Accellent Lost $3.3M in 4Q 2012

Wilmington, Mass.-based Accellent incurred a net loss of $3.3 million in the fourth quarter, an improvement from the $3.4 million loss during the same period last year.

The company’s net sales increased 1.1 percent over the fourth quarter 2011, though year-end sales were down 1.3 percent from last year.

Accellent manufactures and engineers medical devices for cardiology, endoscopy and orthopedic markets.
