7 recent leadership moves at device companies

Here are seven executive appointments at spine and orthopedic device companies since the end of May:

1. Camber Spine named Mark Nixon as its new vice president of sales for the eastern U.S.

2. NuVasive named Daniel Wolterman as independent board chair, the company announced May 19.

3. Southern Spine, a spine surgery implant and instrument manufacturer in Macon, Ga., named John Hart as president and CEO.

4. Zimmer Biomet named two executive leaders, the company said June 7. Wilfred van Zulien will be president of the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa markets, and Nitin Goyal, MD, will be chief science, technology and innovation officer.

5. DiFusion Technologies added Todd Potokar to its board of directors and named Rich Grant as chair of the board.
