Stryker CEO, Kevin Lobo, won the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his career at Stryker, CBS affiliate WWMT reported Aug. 15.
Mr. Lobo was born in India and raised in Canada, and he was recently naturalized as an American citizen, the report said. With Stryker, he's invested millions in the Kalamazoo, Mich. region and the company recently opened a medical production floor in Portage.
Stryker earned more than $18 billion in 2022, and more than 1 million Mako-assisted knee replacements have been done since the robot was acquired 10 years ago.
