The study found MySpine provided safe screw placement throughout the spine with “an accuracy exceeding 94 percent,” according to a March 20 news release from Medacta. Researchers in the retrospective study examined nine patients who had a total 203 screws implanted.
MySpine’s preoperative planning guides are based on low-dose radiation CT scans. The system is used for cervical, thoracolumbar and sacroiliac procedures.
