Here are seven updates from spine and orthopedic device companies in the last week.

1. SeaSpine's 3D-printed WaveForm A interbody system was launched in a limited commercial release.

2. Gainesville, Fla.-based medical device company Exactech has fully launched its Truliant Total Knee System featuring a new porous-coated implant.

3. The FDA has awarded Globus Medical 510(k) clearance for Excelsius3D, an intraoperative three-in-one imaging system.

4. Smith+Nephew is expanding its Werewolf hematosis wand for orthopedic surgeons performing total joint replacements.

5. Accelus launched the FlareHawk7 device for lumbar fusions.

6. The Inhance shoulder arthroplasty system was introduced Aug. 18 by DePuy Synthes, the orthopedics company of Johnson & Johnson.

7. Timothy Scannell, president and COO of Stryker, will retire this fall.
