Dublin, Ireland-based medical device company Medtronic will no longer build a corporate campus in Louisville, Colo., and is looking to neighboring city Lafayette, Colo., as a new option, according to an Oct. 6 report from The Denver Post.

Medtronic was looking at a property previously home to StorageTek, the report said. However, delays and uncertainty for approval led to the decision to pull out of plans.

Medtronic spokesperson John Jordan told The Denver Post the company is interested in a location in Lafayette.

"In Lafayette, Medtronic will control the land acquisition and the development process," Mr. Jordan told The Denver Post in an email.
