Here are five things to know about David Petty, Exactech’s CEO.

1. Exactech named Mr. Petty CEO in March 2014. He became president of the medical device company in November 2007.

 

2. He spent time serving as executive vice president of sales and marketing for Exactech.

 

3. Mr. Petty served as a member of Exactech’s Leadership Team, which oversees and directs the company’s operations.

 

4. He first joined Exactech in 1988. He moved through the ranks, serving as vice president of operations and vice president of marketing.

 

5. Mr. Petty completed The Executive Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville, and is the son of Exactech’s founder William Petty, MD.
