5 devices launched in September 

Here are five new devices that were launched or released last month:

1. Smith+Nephew on Sept. 2 launched its Novostitch Pro meniscal repair system in Europe.


2. India Medtronic, a subsidiary of Medtronic, on Sept. 8 launched the Sonicision curved jaw cordless ultrasonic dissection system.


3. Spinal implant manufacturer NuVasive on Sept. 9 launched the Precice Plate for limb lengthening and reconstruction procedures.


4. On Sept. 21, Nexxt Spine released a next-generation standalone cervical system, called the TL System, which combines the dual functionality of the cervical interbody with an anterior plate.


5. Orthopedic device company FH Ortho launched its Arrow Prime Advanced Instrumentation for shoulder arthroplasty in the U.S. Sept. 24.
