Three things to know:

1. The growth was largely driven by the launch of 4Web Medical’s Total Lateral Solution, which was launched at the 2018 North American Spine Society meeting in Los Angeles, Sept. 26-29, 2018.

2. The company’s fourth quarter performance showed growth in sales revenue, units sold, surgical cases and surgeon users.

3. According to 4Web Medical’s marketing director Tasha White, “Expanding the offering of our Posterior Spine Truss System and launching the Total Lateral Solution allowed us to expand our distribution channel and surgeon users by 20 percent. … We are pleased to see continued adoption of our interbody technology, which mitigates the chance of subsidence and leverages mechanobiology to stimulate an osteogenic response that facilitates the healing process in fusion procedures.”

4. In addition to spine, 4Web Medical is developing truss implant designs for knee, hip, trauma and patient-specific orthopedic procedures.
