EOS imaging to launch new system at RSNA Annual Meeting in Chicago

EOS imaging will launch its new musculoskeletal imaging system EOSedge at the Radiological Society of North America 2019 Annual Meeting in Chicago from Dec. 1 to 6.

Four insights:

1. EOSedge combines X-ray detection, low-dose radiation and high image resolution to enhance musculoskeletal imaging exams.

2. It is designed to improve patient comfort and optimize throughput.

3. EOSedge features an open cabin with a motorized patient platform, which facilitates access and positioning for patients.

4. The imaging system received regulatory approval in Europe, Canada and Australia. It is pending FDA 510(k) approval.
