4 Mazor Robotics’ Renaissance Spine Systems Acquired by Hospital Corporation

Caesarea, Israel-based Mazor Robotics will sell four of its Renaissance spine systems to a major U.S. hospital corporation for acute-care use in four U.S. markets.

Twenty-six Renaissance systems are in use nationwide and 48 globally, according to the release.

The Renaissance system provides robotic guidance for surgeons, which allows them to perform less invasive procedures for scoliosis and spinal reconstruction, according to the release.
