In2Bones receives FDA approval for addition to bone plating system: 5 highlights

In2Bones Global received FDA clearance for an addition to its CoLink Forefoot Bone Plating System.

Here are five highlights:


1. The addion will be marketed under the company's existing CoLink View brand and is designed to stabilize bones during post-surgical healing.


2. CoLink View Bone Plates combine titanium metal and PEEK. The plates include an X-ray transparent PEEK hub that allows surgeons to watch a patient's bone heal.


3. The bone plating system is In2Bones' sixth FDA approved implant system. The company expects systems to earn approval in 2018.


4. In2Bones was created in 2016 after In2Bones USA and In2Bones SAS merged. The company designs, manufactures and distributes medical devices for upper and lower extremity disorders.


5. The company's portfolio includes the NeoView Peek Distal Radius Plate, NeoSpine Super Elastic Compression Staple and PitStop Peek subtalar implant.
