Here are 13 key notes on orthopedic and spine device companies over the past week.

Dublin, Ireland-based Medtronic unveiled its new business unit, which will offer joint replacement products.

 

A Cincinnati-based Mayfield Brain & Spine surgeon performed the first sacroiliac joint fusion at an outpatient surgery center utilizing Medtronic's RIALTO system in the United States.
