3 recent Globus Medical updates to know

Here are three updates to know on medtech company Globus Medical, as reported on by Becker’s since Feb. 6:

1. Globus Medical is inching closer to FDA clearance for its XR augmented reality headset. It will work with the ExcelsiusHub and the company’s president and CEO expects the system to be cleared in the first quarter of 2025.

2. The company saw fourth quarter net sales grow 6.6% year over year, and full year sales leapt 60.6%.

3. Globus Medical is acquiring Nevro Corp, a spinal cord stimulator company.
