2nd EOS system installed in Hong Kong: 4 quick points

EOS imaging announced a second hospital in Hong Kong has installed the EOS platform.

Here are four quick points:

 

1. The Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital installed the system. It is part of the Hong Kong University Hospital network.

 

2. The EOS platform provides 2D and 3D full-body, stereo-radiographic images of patients in functional positions.

 

3. EOS exams require a radiation dose 50 percent to 85 percent less than digital radiology and 95 percent less than basic CT scans.

 

4. The EOS medical imaging system is dedicated to osteoarticular pathologies and orthopedics.
