The first spine surgery procedures using MiRus’ MoRe superalloy have recently been completed.

1. MiRus developed a molybdenum rhenium superalloy for medical implants.

2. The company used the superalloy in its MoRe Europa Pedicle Screw System.

3. The superalloy allows for the creation of smaller and stronger pedicle screw implants. MiRus believes the superalloy-based implants will result in decreased soft tissue disruption, which should lead to improved recovery times for patients.

4. The superalloy-based implants have been used at several U.S.-based centers to date.
