The surgery was performed at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu in Geneva by Prof. Aymen Ramadan. The implant intended for spinal fusion consists of the ONE-STEP locking mechanism, which eliminates the use of a set screw, articulating spikes and various sizes.

“We are very excited to now offer our ZIP MIS product portfolio in Switzerland,” said Sven Claes, international product director of Aurora Spine. “We believe that our ZIP ULTRA MIS Fusion System is a true minimally invasive fusion system, allowing the surgeon to perform a screwless procedure. It is designed to be simple, safe and secure and we are convinced it will improve patient outcomes in Switzerland as well as globally.”
