1st EOS imaging system installed in Saudi Arabia: 4 things to know

EOS imaging announced the first installation of its EOS system in Saudi Arabia.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The EOS system installed at the Jeddah Scan Radiology Center in Saudi Arabia is the first in the Middle East.

 

2. The center includes physicians focusing on orthopedics, rheumatology and pediatrics.

 

3. The EOS platform provides 2D and 3D full-body, stereo-radiographic images of patients in functional positions.

 

4. EOS exams require a radiation dose 50 percent to 85 percent less than digital radiology and 95 percent less than basic CT scans.
