Bethesda, Md.-based Hanger Orthopedic Group announced it has acquired three orthotic companies — Dynamic Orthotics and Prosthetics in Houston, Nebraska Orthotic and Prosthetic Services in Lincoln, Neb., and Spectrum Prosthetics and Orthotics in Des Moines, Iowa, according to a Hanger Orthopedic news release.
The acquisition will expand Hanger's geographic reach. The three companies it has acquired operate 10 offices with annual revenues of $14.0 million, according to the release.
"These companies are leaders in their communities with high quality practitioners. They will greatly strengthen our presence and provide a base for future growth together," Thomas F. Kirk, president and CEO of Hanger Orthopedic, said in the release. "As part of our growth strategy, we continue to identify premier service providers in strategic areas to complement our existing patient care centers."
