The imaging system is low-profile and mobile, and it enables 3D imaging with robotic holonomic mechanisms. Richard McMurtrey, MD, is trained to use the system.

“This technology really moves us into the future for minimally-invasive image-guided procedures,” he said in the release. “It is the most advanced robotic 3D C-arm cone beam scanner that exists for interventional procedures to see targets and approaches in the highest resolution, and we are grateful to be the first in Utah to implement a revolutionary device of this kind.”

Alpine Spine & Orthopedics is the first in the state to use this technology.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
