Pennsylvania hospital adds robotic-assisted joint replacements

Johnstown, Pa.-based Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has expanded its services to include robotic-assisted joint replacements, the Conemaugh Health System said Jan. 25.

The health system said robotic-assisted surgery allows physicians to perform complex procedures with more control and flexibility.

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center earned advanced certification for total hip and total knee replacement from The Joint Commission in 2019.
