Rosa uses camera and optical trackers to help surgeons place knee implants and follow surgical plans. It uses a 3D model of the patient’s knee, allowing surgeons to take a custom approach to each case.

The practice completed seven procedures with the robot in its first week, and more are scheduled. Rosa will also be available at Washington, N.C.-based Vidant Beaufort Hospital and Greenville-based Vidant SurgiCenter.
