Texas hospital acquires da Vinci surgical system

Odessa (Texas) Regional Medical Center installed the da Vinci Xi Surgical System to advance its minimally invasive surgical offerings, OA Online reports.

The system can be used for general surgery, gynecology, cardiac procedures and urology, among others. Odessa Regional offers other da Vinci systems as well.

Hospital President Stacey Brown said, "The addition of this cutting-edge technology will continue to demonstrate our dedication to patients by providing them with the most advanced minimally invasive surgical options."
