HOI began performing robot-assisted surgery since 2021, and now there are 10 systems in use at the practice and its affiliated ASCs, according to a Jan. 30 news release. The robots support surgeons in joint surgeries with 3D mapping tools and increased precision.

“Robotic-assisted surgery has transformed orthopedic care by delivering a consistent level of surgical precision and personalized planning that simply wasn’t possible before,” Jay Patel, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with HOI, said in the release. “For our patients, the rapid growth in robotic cases translates into deep surgical expertise and personalized care, helping them return to everyday life faster with excellent outcomes.”
