LEM Surgical’s Dynamis robot for spine surgery earned FDA 510(k) clearance, according to an April 24 news release.

The robot is the first multi-arm system for hard tissue surgery. Two arms are for surgical guidance, and one is for optical navigation. It supports a wide range of surgical instruments.

Dynamis will be introduced in the U.S. later this year, and commercialization will increase in 2026, Chris Prentice, CCO of LEM Surgical said in the release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
