Dr. William Hamilton completes Maryland’s first outpatient knee replacement with Velys robot

William Hamilton, MD, performed the first outpatient knee replacement using the Velys robot in Maryland.

Dr. Hamilton completed the procedure at the newly-opened Harborside Surgery Center in National Harbor, Md., according to an April 12 news release from Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic. The robot helps incrase precision in knee replacements and can help patients recover faster.

Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic is based in Arlington, Va. and has additional locations in the Washington D.C. area.
