Dr. Sravisht Iyer completes 100th robotic spine surgery

Sravisht Iyer, MD, recently completed his 100th robotic-assisted spine surgery with the ExcelsiusGPS robot in New York City.

Dr. Iyer is a spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgical techniques. He completed the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery, according to a May 13 LinkedIn post. 

Globus Medical’s ExcelsiusGPS robot combines a robotic arm with full navigational capabilities that allow surgeons to operate with a small incision.
