Dr. Douglas Crowther completes 100 robotic-assisted surgeries in less than a year

Douglas Crowther, DO, completed his 100th robot-assisted procedure in under one year using ExcelsiusGPS technology.

Dr. Crowther is an orthopedic spine surgeon at the Colorado Center of Orthopaedic Excellence in Colorado Springs and a member of four spine foundations. 

The milestone was achieved with the ExcelsiusGPS, which uses minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Crowther is the first surgeon in Colorado Springs to use the technology, according to a July 19 LinkedIn post.
