Augusta Health adds spine robot

Fisherville, Va.-based Augusta Health added Medtronic’s Mazor spine robot, according to a Jan. 26 news release.

James Chadduck, MD, and Clark Bernard, MD, are trained to use the robot, which uses computer and robotic guidance to increase precision during spine surgeries.

Augusta Health completed its 15th surgery with the robot in January, and the health system added Mazor in November.
