1. The Abrazo Scottsdale Campus’ robotic technology includes the Navio Surgical System, Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology, da Vinci Surgical System and O-arm Surgical Imaging System.
2. Nine surgeons who use the robots educated open house attendees about the technology. They spoke about each robot’s capabilities and offered hands-on demonstrations during presentations in the operating rooms.
3. The 500-plus attendees included many local students interested in science, math, engineering and technology careers. Young visitors had the opportunity to use a virtual reality simulator.
