5 hospitals, health systems adding orthopedic robots in 3 weeks

Here are five hospitals and health systems adding spine and orthopedic robots that Becker’s has reported on since Dec. 29:

1. Fisherville, Va.-based Augusta Health added Zimmer Biomet’s Rosa knee system for joint replacements. 

2. Montrose (Colo.) Regional Health added the ExcelsiusGPS and Excelsius3D systems for spine surgery.

3. Ozark, Mo.-based Mercy Orthopedic Hospital added a Velys robotic system for knee replacements.

4. New Castle, Ind.-based Henry Community Health is offering joint replacement procedures utilizing the Mako Smart Robotics system.

5. Rock Springs, Wyo.-based Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County added a Stryker Mako robot for total knee and hip replacements.
