Zimmer Biomet’s revenue in the first quarter of 2025 was mostly flat with a 1.1% increase year-over-year, according to financial results posted May 5.
Five things to know:
1. Quarterly sales reached $1.9 billion, and Zimmer Biomet’s net earnings were $182 million.
2. Hip and knee sales saw year-over-year growth of less than 1%. Knee sales were $792.9 million, and hips were $495.8 million.
3. Sports medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic sales rose 3.9% year over year to $470.5 million.
4. U.S. sales saw more year-over-year growth (1.3%) compared to international sales (0.7%).
5. Zimmer Biomet projects its full-year revenue to increase 5.7% to 8.2%.
