Zimmer Biomet and PatientIQ are collaborating to integrate orthopedic insights and recovery insights directly into EHRs.

The partnership will expand access to Zimmer Biomet’s mymobility and ZB Edge platforms across PatientIQ’s network of more than 750 health systems, according to a Jan. 6 news release.

“Our goal is to empower surgeons and care teams with the tools, data and insights needed to deliver personalized, high-quality care,” Robert Kraal, vice president and general manager of connected health at Zimmer Biomet, said in the release. “Through this partnership with PatientIQ, we are further advancing our differentiated connected care ecosystem, which links devices, data and digital tools across the patient journey to help improve recovery and outcomes.”
